Warhammer/Citadel Colour - Base Paints

Citadel Base paints are the high-opacity foundation of the Citadel Painting System. Formulated with a dense concentration of heavy pigments, these paints are specifically engineered to provide smooth, solid coverage over both light and dark undercoats with just one or two thin layers. They leave a flat, matte finish that serves as the perfect canvas for subsequent shading and highlighting.

What they are good for:

~ Establishing a strong, uniform coat of color directly over plastic, resin, or metal primers

~ Speeding up the base-coating process on large batches of infantry, vehicles, and terrain

~ Providing maximum opacity to easily cover up mistakes or clean up messy areas on a miniature
