Contrast: Biel-Tan Green (18ML)
Contrast: Biel-Tan Green (18ML)
A specialized, pale desaturated-purple Citadel Contrast paint formulated with a light pigment density suspended in a unique, flowing medium. Designed to wash over a light undercoat, it automatically pulls away from raised surfaces and pools gently into creases, delivering an ethereal, ghostly lilac tint, subtle violet-grey recess shading, and a bright undercoat highlight all in a single application. Packaged in an 18ml pot.
What it’s good for:
~ Instantly painting the haunting, translucent flesh of spectres, banshees, and ghostly apparitions for an immediate supernatural look
~ Achieving rapid, cold shading over white or pale grey armor, giving sleek sci-fi or fantasy power suits a subtle, eerie purple-grey tint
~ Creating immediate, faint magical glows on psychic eyes, sorcerous runes, and enchanted crystal weapons without overpowering the undercoat details
~ Tinting the pale, bruised flesh of daemonic entities, alien monsters, and chaotic mutations to emphasize an unnatural, sickly appearance
What it goes well with:
~ White Scar or Grey Seer (Contrast undercoats: a pure white undercoat like White Scar keeps the finish bright, crisp, and ethereal, while Grey Seer anchors it with a slightly moodier, colder tone)
~ Contrast Medium (Technical medium: thinning Dreadful Visage down allows you to create incredibly faint, specialized glazes for painting realistic skin bruising or smoothing out ghostly blends)
~ Dechala Lilac, Ulthuan Grey, or Pallid Wych Flesh (Traditional layer paints: perfect for layering or edge-highlighting over the tinted surfaces to restore pale mid-tones and add razor-sharp, light-catching definition)
