Contrast: Sigvald Burgundy (18ML)

A rich, opulent velvet-purple Citadel Contrast paint formulated with high-opacity pigments suspended in a unique, flowing medium. Designed to wash over a light undercoat, it automatically pools with deep, near-black density in the crevices while leaving a smooth, luxurious magenta-wine tint on raised surfaces, delivering a complete base coat, heavy shadow, and clean highlight all in a single application. Packaged in an 18ml pot.

What it’s good for:

~ Instantly painting the extravagant, regal armor plates and flowing silk capes of the Hedonites of Slaanesh (particularly the followers of Sigvald the Magnificent)

~ Achieving a deep, rich burgundy finish on heavy velvet curtains, royal banners, and aristocratic uniforms

~ Creating a smooth, high-contrast organic tone for exotic alien carapaces, mutating muscular hides, and daemonic flesh

~ Simulating bruised flesh, deep warp-tainted veins, or a heavy, luxurious lining inside weathered leather cloaks

What it goes well with:

~ Wraithbone or Grey Seer (Contrast undercoats—Wraithbone draws out the warm, rich wine tones, while Grey Seer anchors it with a colder, more menacing midnight-purple finish)

~ Magos Purple or Contrast Medium (Can be mixed to thin down the intense pigment into a delicate, blushing magenta glaze for skin or cloth highlights)

~ Screamer Pink, Pink Horror, or Kakophoni Purple (Layer and edge highlights used to pick out the sharpest fabric folds or armor trim to make the rich burgundy vividly pop)
