Contrast: Terradon Turquoise (18ML)
Contrast: Terradon Turquoise (18ML)
- Is a Terradon truly Turquoise? Idunno, but it sure sounds cool.
A deep, rich teal Citadel Contrast paint formulated with dense, high-opacity pigments suspended in a unique, flowing medium. Designed to wash over a light undercoat, it automatically pulls away from raised surfaces and pools deeply into creases and textures, delivering a complete deep-turquoise base coat, dark marine recess shading, and a clean highlight all in a single application. Packaged in an 18ml pot.
What it’s good for:
~ Instantly painting the magnificent scales, wings, and hides of Seraphon Terradons, ancient reptiles, and exotic fantasy monsters
~ Achieving rapid, high-contrast armor panels and sleek vehicle hulls for specialized sci-fi factions, space marines, and advanced alien raiders
~ Creating immediate depth on flowing ceremonial robes, tattered cloaks, and ornate high-fantasy banners
~ Providing a fast, atmospheric foundation for glowing arcane ruins, sorcerous energy conduits, and cold, crystalline mineral veins
What it goes well with:
~ Grey Seer or Wraithbone (Contrast undercoats: Grey Seer coaxes out a cold, moody, midnight-teal finish, while Wraithbone delivers a slightly warmer, richer, organic sea-green tone)
~ Contrast Medium (Technical medium: thinning Terradon Turquoise down allows you to create incredibly smooth turquoise glazes, subtle power weapon transitions, or softer shading gradients)
~ Sotek Green, Temple Guard Blue, or Baharroth Blue (Traditional layer paints: perfect for brushing over flat surfaces to solidify the rich teal mid-tone, or edge-highlighting sharp armor corners and rivets for extreme definition)
