Contrast: Volupus Pink (18ML)

A rich, deep magenta Citadel Contrast paint formulated with intense pigments suspended in a unique, flowing medium. Designed to wash over a light undercoat, it automatically pools in the deep recesses while leaving a vibrant, translucent tint on raised surfaces, delivering a base coat, shade, and highlight all in a single application. Packaged in an 18ml pot.

What it’s good for:

~ Instantly painting the vibrant, unnatural flesh, tentacles, and organic musculature of daemons, alien organisms, and monsters

~ Creating rich, royal violet-pink cloaks, flowing banners, and ornate fabrics with dramatic, high-contrast shadows

~ Blending smooth, bruising gradients around wounds, open sores, and mutated skin on chaotic or undead miniatures

~ Glazing over bright silver base coats to create a striking, metallic candy-magenta finish for armor plating and weapon trim

What it goes well with:

~ Grey Seer or Wraithbone (Contrast undercoats—Grey Seer yields a cooler, colder magenta, while Wraithbone gives it a warmer, richer tone)

~ Carroburg Crimson or Druchii Violet (Shade wash if you want to push the deepest recesses into near-black shadows)

~ Pink Horror, Emperor's Children, or Fulgrim Pink (Layer or edge highlight to make the raised details pop)
